Update # 64

Hi,

This gets to be a short and sweet update!

Jeff and Ken went to Costas this morning for Jeff's 8:30 AM appointment.  Dr. Gauvain thought Jeff looked great and the CBC showed that all of Jeff's counts had risen.  The counts were good enough that Jeff did not have to receive any blood or platelets.  Dr. Gauvain said Jeff's lung also sounded clear enough that she decided not to do an x-ray.  His cough is few and far between now.  His right leg from the biopsy is healing very slowly since Jeff's counts are still not in the normal range but Dr. Gauvain is watching it closely.   So Ken and Jeff were on their way out the door around 10:15 this morning.  Your prayers have continued to heal Jeff through the complication.

Dr. Gauvain of course wants to see Jeff next Monday the 9th.  In the meantime, she also wants Heartland Home Health to do a CBC this Thursday.  Dr. Gauvain thinks that the Neulasta is working well but wants to keep an eye on Jeff's counts.

Jeff will have his appointment with the cardiologist at Barnes this coming Friday morning the 6th.  If Jeff's counts would happen to fall again by Thursday, we can always stop by Costas after the Barnes meeting.  

One of Jeff's college friends stopped by and stayed overnight Friday.  It was good that Jeff got to visit with someone from Iowa.  

So thanks very much for your continued prayers.  It's amazing how well Jeff has come around in the last week.  Your prayers are working!
