Update # 71
Good Afternoon,
Jeff and Ken got home around 2:40 PM. Jeff completed those 3 days of 3 low dose chemos with no real problems. His counts are just beginning to go down but he feels good.
Heartland Home Health needs to stop by in the morning to do their check on Jeff. When they are finished, Jeff and I have to drive back to Costas for that Neulasta shot. They would not send it home and it would cost to get it here. The quick trip is cheaper. We'll call when we're leaving town so they can have it ready when we arrive. Hopefully, it won't take us long once we're there.
Then Monday the 13th is the appointment with Dr. Dipersio at Barnes. Plus, the CBC, chest x-ray, and Pulmonary Function. That's an early day -- we have to be there at 7:00 AM.
I'll send another update on Monday after we see the transplant doctor. We had a couple of 70's days but rain and cooler weather is on the way. Everyone have a great Veteran's Day weekend. We want to thank each of you for being there for us each day.
love,
Marcia
