Update # 132
25 months
Good Evening,
I pray everyone is staying safe and warm in this severely cold time period. My school was cancelled today and I received the call 45 minutes ago that tomorrow will also be another "snow" day. That gives us a 5-day weekend with Monday being a holiday.
This update gets to be short and sweet. Jeff and a friend went down to Iowa City today for Jeff's 2 appointments. Meridith had a meeting this evening so they felt it would be easier to not have to worry about a time crunch like the Oct. appointment.
The first thing was for Jeff to receive his 4th and final vaccination according to the 2-year post transplant schedule. Remember, Siteman did not have any left of this particular shot when Jeff was there in December.
Then Jeff met with his eye doctor. Dr. Wagoner again said Jeff had the best vision of the day. He was pleased with the way Jeff's eyes looked and told him to continue with the daily pill. He also recommended a new eye drop to use. A regular 3-month check-up was scheduled for April 16th.
So a great day for Jeff and his health. Jeff finally got over that cold he had in December and seems to be feeling well. This new year is off to a good start for Jeff medically. Your daily prayers are a big reason that we give thanks to God for blessing Jeff. We appreciate everything you do and keep you all in our prayers. Be careful during this winter. I hope to wait till April to update again.
love,
Marcia
