Update # 27 

Good Afternoon, 

We've been kind of lazy today just doing a few things around the house.  We enjoyed watching Bud Pole Qualifying for the Daytona 500.  We're all ready for race season to begin tomorrow.  I guess I'd better get started on this update for this week though. 

Five doses down and nine to go.  Everything in radiation is going well.  Four days we were back and Jeff was in school by 10:00.  Thursday it was a little after 10:30.  Dr. Roy was caught in traffic so we had to wait for him.  He is pleased with the ways things are and that Jeff so far has no side effects.  When I ordered home medical supplies this week, I told "Bob" this was probably the last time I'd have to talk to him!!!  I only ordered enough for the rest of February.  

Thursday night was another meeting for the Relay For Life sponsored by the Cancer Society.  Since Jeff is one of the honorary co-chairs, they wanted him to tell his story.  He spoke for a few minutes and told the highlights of his last few months.  

Yesterday, we received the video of the fashion show in which Jeff was a model in November.  We just glanced through it but it brought back some good memories.  We have seen a few of the kids either at Costas or SLUH since then.  They look as well as Jeff, thank goodness.  

It's great to really have nothing to tell you.  We pray Jeff continues this last round of radiation with no problems.  We know all your prayers are helping Jeff to go forward in healing and in life.  Thank you.  Take care until next week.
