Update # 16
Greetings,
This will be a fairly short note due to things going well and also we're taking Jeff to Decatur to enjoy a few hours with the Synod Youth Board at the synod youth gathering this weekend.
Jeff started on the pill form of his anti-viral med for the shingles. Ken and I noticed a big difference in the shingles between Saturday and Sunday. Sunday they were really beginning to scab over. It was amazing how much they changed. On Tuesday, some of the scabs began coming off. There are now just a couple of small scabs remaining on the front and back.
We had only three days of school this week and Jeff attended all of them. He didn't stay after on any of them but he'll plans to do that next week. He's mostly caught up except for Tech Lab.
Isn't it great to get a short note???? Jeff and I head to CG tomorrow for the re-rescheduled PET Scan and the echo. There should be no problem this time since even the scabs are almost gone!! The consult has been set for PM on Friday, the 30th. We'll get the results of all 4 tests then. We'll finally know the radiation schedule also. We lost 2 weeks with the shingles but maybe we can have radiation finished by Christmas or the end of the year. Let you know next week.
We hope all of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Ken and Jeff worked a few hours at the community dinner (served 396) and then we had turkey and fixings here at home. It was a great day in many ways but especially because of your prayers. Thank you one and all!!!
Love,
Marcia
